EMT is more than Camp-It’s an Experience!

These eight days are designed to challenge you to live like Jesus. You’ll be pushed outside your comfort zone, but you’ll also discover a new kind of life and joy as you step out in faith—just as Jesus promised His followers.

This isn’t for the faint of heart. EMT will stretch you physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit, talk with your youth leader or email us at youth@dcfi.org before applying.

At the same time, no one is ever “fully prepared” to follow Jesus. Sometimes it starts with simply dropping your net and saying “yes” (Matthew 4).

Part of camp is doing outreach in the community

“I was impacted by learning how to evangelize and then doing it”
“Praying for people, playing with kids at the park and just loving on the people of Reading”

What to Expect

God has a unique call on your life. Each day at EMT, we will teach you. We will pray for you. We will worship together. And then, we will send you out to do what you were just taught! After Jesus equipped His disciples, He sent them out “to proclaim the Kingdom of God.” Being sent activated their faith! This year, many of the outreaches will look a bit different, but it doesn’t change the mission—that the world would know Jesus!

Still not sure what to expect? Check out this recap from EMT 2025

EMT Phases Overview

Phase 1 is the foundational stage of EMT, combining dynamic teaching, hands-on outreach, and evangelism training. This phase is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence needed to share the Gospel effectively.

Phase 2 is where training turns into action. In this phase, you’ll apply what you’ve learned through real-world evangelism opportunities. A key component of Phase 2 is Spirit-Led Evangelism, where teams will spend time in prayer, journaling, and listening to the Holy Spirit for direction. Together, each team will discern how God is leading them and step out in faith to put His guidance into action.

Qualifications

EMT is designed for teens ages 13–18 who have a genuine desire to live for God and make an impact in the world. As part of the application process, your youth leader or mentor will need to submit a recommendation on your behalf.

Cost & Details:

Students may choose to attend Phase 1 only or the full 8-day experience. Most participants choose the full program.

  • Phase 1 (Days 1–4): $295

  • Phase 1 + 2 (Full 8 Days): $395

What’s included: lodging for eight nights at Rosedale Camp, meals, and two EMT T-shirts.

We work hard to keep EMT affordable! We encourage you and your youth group to view this as a missions trip and consider fundraising together. If finances are a concern, partial scholarships are available. For more information, contact youth@dcfi.org

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
