Someone tweeted recently, “The faithful see the invisible, believe the incredible, and receive the impossible”. Many times in the midst of our circumstances we forget about the “God Factor”. The part that we cannot see, the part the defies natural reasoning, the part that makes the impossible possible and in the midst of the challenge in front of us, we gravitate toward what would be the logical outcome vs. believing God for something so much different.
But it starts with what we can see! What we can see is dependent on what we believe, because what we believe is the filter through which we look at things. A filter of doubt sees the inevitable while a filter of faith sees the possible. When an army was dispatched to pick up Elisah, his servant saw the inevitable; 2 Kings 6:15-17 When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha. 16 “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” 17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. (NLT)
What can you see this morning? Or better yet, what filter are you looking through? My prayer is that you have Kingdom 20 X 20 eyesight. Open our eyes Lord that we can see the invisible, believe the incredible, and receive the impossible.
