Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of your tongue. You can create life, infuse positive outcomes, bring hope to discouragement, and change mindsets and emotions, just by your simple words. That in itself is one of the most powerful things going for you today. That you can bring change by just your words. Add to that simple fact the reality that Jesus is always speaking blessing over you and you come to the realization that you really do have the power to succeed.
So the question becomes, “Am I empowering life or am I empowering death?” If I am not empowering life, I would recommend a good speech editing process put into play. To weed out the things that are not life giving and encouraging. That is certainly not the easiest task in the world, but certainly an important one to implement. And one that will bring life!
May every word that you speak today bring life to all that are around you!
