Well, no excuses here, but I am a little late on this. Like, two weeks!!!! I trust that you are all on the victory side. All of the regional gatherings have been stellar to say the least and we are definitely moving forward as a movement of churches. I hear great reports everywhere. People being saved, lives being changed, challenges being worked through. The Kingdom is certainly being expanded in our midst. Certainly not without challenges but as overcomers, we face every challenge with a certainty that the Lord who started a good work in us will bring it to completion.

Here are some choice verses from scripture to encourage you today! Read them slow to catch their full impact.

Col 1:13-23a

For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. 15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, 16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.18 Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. 21 This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. 22 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 23 But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. NLT

Reading these verse makes you want to stand up and shout!!

  • He has transferred us into His Kingdom
  • He created everything including you and I
  • We were created by Him and for Him
  • He is holding everything together
  • Through Him God reconciled everything to Himself
  • You have been brought into His presence
  • You are holy
  • You are blameless
  • You stand before Him without a single fault

Then verse 23 says it is conditional to believing the truth and standing firmly in it. Not just on it, but in it. In other words, living the truth where the word of God is our lifestyle, dictates our actions, and our responses to circumstances and situations. We are saturated with His word so that as life squeezes us, His nature comes out. When we know who we are we know how to be.
