The World or The Word?

Most people are more impacted by the world and circumstances around them than the Word of God in them. And that is one thing that has to change if the church is to truly be the witness that the Lord has called her to be. 2 Cor 10:4-5 says  “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

What is exalting itself against what you know God to be? What challenge, difficulty, stronghold, mindset or fear are you facing that is in direct opposition to what the Word of God says? Well, it is time to make up your mind and choose the Word over your challenge, difficulty, stronghold, mindset, or fear. Allow the Word of the Lord to be your anchor, rock, hope, strong tower, and ultimately, your deliverer. His Word is powerful, but the choice is always yours to choose whether you will trust that which you know to be true (His Word) and that which appears (world and circumstances) to be happening around you. Because whatever has the greatest influence, dictates your response. And your response totally guarantees the outcome.
