John Wooden said, “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” It is what we really are that truly counts at the end of the day, not what others think about us. It is easy to become concerned with what others think and at times allow that to rule our decision making. I am confident that if I am most concerned about my character, my reputation will be fine.
