The world is waiting on you today.

What did you think about when you woke up this morning? Problems, challenges, difficulties that you are facing….. What was the first thing on your mind? Did you see today as a day of challenges or a day of opportunities? Usually the deciding factor in that whole thought process is when and where Jesus came into the picture.

There are some mornings I wake up and there are so many thoughts going through my brain; challenges, difficulties, situations that need attention, and problems that need addressed, all seemingly screaming for attention. As I make my way to my place of prayer, my mind is running in so many directions that I could almost feel overwhelmed. I have noticed time and time again that as I take time with Jesus, the problems, challenges, and difficulties, seem to come into the right perspective as I lift Jesus to His rightful place and my focus. The screaming thoughts stop and I enter a place of peace knowing that Jesus is there to walk me through the day with all of its challenges and difficulties. I don’t have to face them alone and I certainly don’t have to have all the answers, He will provide them for me as I walk in peace. That is why my time with Jesus is invaluable in the early morning hours.

The sooner I bring Jesus into the picture, the sooner I enter into His peace. And that is why the world is waiting on you. There are problems all around you this morning. Some of them are very challenging but none of them are too difficult for Jesus to handle. He wants to walk through this day with you engaging His presence in all you do. The world around you needs the peace that you experienced when you spent time with Him this morning. The devil always thrives in turmoil, stress, and upheaval. Jesus always positions himself in peace.

I like Rom 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. May you experience His peace this morning as you make the decision to invite him into your thought processes. And may you make the decision to do that immediately upon waking up tomorrow and every morning thereafter. The world is waiting on you this morning to bring peace into their lives. Don’t disappoint them.
