I was thinking about all of you this morning and this verse came to mind. Eph 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (NLT) Man, let that sink in for a minute or two. You and I are His masterpiece that He has created. Masterpiece is an extraordinary word used to describe an extraordinary creation. And that creation is you!
Add to that the reason He has created this masterpiece (you) is to do the good things He planned for you long ago. Well, that should encourage your outlook on the day before you! He created me to do the things that He then planned for me to do. Gives my life full purpose! May your life today be full of purpose and meaning as you give yourself to His plans. With that understanding, it is kind of hard to take credit for something that we are able to accomplish as He created us and then gave us the ability to do it as He planned. Looks like the best way for me to give honor and glory to His name is to do what He has for me today.
