You can easily count the number of seeds in an apple but you can never count the number of apples in any given seed. Such is the power of seeds and the exponential law of sowing. What you sow are seeds and while there may be a concrete, definable, or distinguishable amount of seeds you carry, the impact of your sowing cannot be fully realized in this lifetime. Only in our eternal existence with the Lord will we see the full impact of all that we have sown throughout our life time. And I can guarantee you, the impact you have had will be much greater than you ever dreamed possible.
I like the rendition of 2 Cor 9:6-7 in the Message translation; “6 Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop.” The question is never will you get a crop; the question is how big of a crop will you get? That is directly proportional to the amount of seeds sown. Sow lavishly today! It will be worth it!
