Steve and Mary Prokopchak, as members of the DOVE International Apostolic Council, help to provide oversight and direction for DOVE churches in the United States, the Caribbean and the South Pacific region. They also serve on the DOVE USA Team. A Christian family and marriage counselor for many years, Steve earned his Master of Human Services degree from Lincoln University. Mary is a retired registered nurse and works part-time in her field. Active in politics, Mary’s personal cause is to see an end to abortion.

Steve and Mary’s vision and hearts’ cry is to see people made whole in their personal lives, marriages and families. Countless individuals have been affected via Steve and Mary’s training, whether it is one-on-one or through seminars, conferences, marriage retreats and written materials. They travel regularly, ministering in churches across the nation and internationally, giving people the various leadership and counseling tools they need.

Steve and Mary wrote Called Together, a unique workbook specifically designed for couple-to-couple mentoring use. They also co-wrote, Staying Together, Marriage: A Lifelong Affair, a book is designed to challenge and strengthen marriages.  Steve’s newest book, Identity: The Distinctiveness of You, surrendering who you think you should be to discover who you are. Steve also authored a series of booklets called People Helping People on counseling topics suitable for small groups. He co-authored the book The Biblical Role of Elders for Today’s Church and Battle Cry for Your Marriage. Steve has had articles published in Charisma Magazine and Ministries Today.

Steve and Mary have been married for 46 years and have three married children. They enjoy three grandchildren. Their home is in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. They thoroughly enjoy weekend get-aways in the mountains, a good NASCAR race and praying together.
