Elections are tomorrow and hopefully everyone will exercise their responsibility to vote. We take for granted the opportunity that we have in this nation. To get the full impact on how important of a freedom this is, talk to someone who is from a nation where they do not have the freedom to vote or elections are rigged and they will let you know how privileged we really are. Please exercise that liberty tomorrow and encourage all of those around you to do the same.
News flash! You are not up for election! God the Father has already chosen you to be a recipient of His Grace and Mercy. As individuals we sometimes feel that we need to do something to be elected or to come into better standing with the Fathering, but He has already chosen you. It is a done deal. And since you have already been chosen, it is now paramount that you walk out that relationship or as Paul says in 2 Cor 5:21-6:1 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it.
Because you have been elected or chosen, you need to walk out that relationship and in walking out that relationship make sure that you don’t get caught up in the politics of life vs. obedience to the one who elected you in the first place. His election is sure! As for others, sometimes they will vote for you and sometimes they’ll vote against you. Allow your security to rest in the fact that you are chosen by the Lord to do His will, and that is not up for vote!
